So I am trying to see what people think of the idea of a mentor during nursing school that is something similar to a tutor but is more directed at contributing to the education in more of a direct interaction. This would be something like constant communication via email, phone, or even face to face to help answer questions through out the program when something confusing comes up.

We all know there are forums and professor emails but these are not always the best or easiest ways to get the information you are looking for. My question to everyone is to get an idea of what people actually feel would be helpful. Would nursing students actually use a service like that that allows you to have direct access to a mentor's email, phone, etc to ask questions or discuss confusing concepts at any time of day and/or help them with projects or even preparing for interviews after school?

I would have loved a tutor when I was in nursing school-not a bad idea!

Yes, based on the class or subject matter along with how things would be structured including investment.
