well for me, pharm was easy to understand and im good at math while i struggled with med-surg 1.

Im really asking this question b/c in our school alot of ppl were borderline passing critical care, like 30-40 ppl failing each test out of 110 student, so i was wondering if that was the hardest class, im getting scared for next semester!:uhoh3: should i start studying over the summer? :typing

Specializes in ICU, Informatics.

Thus far,

Easiest: Med Calc and Pharm

Hardest: OB

Oh yeah. I forgot about pathophysiology. I LOVED that class! Everything about it fascinated me. It was the easiest A of my life.

Specializes in Telemetry/Cardiac Floor.

Not sure why but the cardiac chapter was so simple to me.....

My hardest was Med Surge II :banghead: and OB, the content wasn't hard in OB just too much stuff piled on us all of the sudden and I wasn't ready for it!

Dosaging - I have never missed a dosaging question.

Obstetrics - I didn't think I would like it, but so far has been my favorite and easiest class. A lot of other people are having problems with it.

Fundamental was hard for me. No previous medical experience and a lot of new lingo gets used that I didn't understand. Tons of reading if you have no background. The pay-off is when you get to the point where no one has experience, well then I am used to reading and working at learning. My fellow students who had it easy the 1st year are paying for it now with some poor study habits to overcome and a lot of complaining. Pharm wasn't easy but it was my best grade yet I feel I know the least. OB is great if you are a mom! I am sure I will love peds. I love med-surg 1 & 2, it is A/P all over. Oh, I think Health Assessment is pretty tough. I think it will take years to read human bodies with great accuracy.
