This year I've decided to stop cramming for tests... I know that it is easier said than done, but i'm sick and tired of hearing terms and thinking "hmmm, why does that sound familiar?"--- NO MORE!

I'm posting this here because maybe it will be more real to me.

Does anyone else have any resoloutions that they plan to stick to?

My resolution is just to pass and work out more.... I'm so burnt out from NS....

My resolution is to stop saying, "crazy" for things that I find "out there" or out of the ordinary.

I'm in psych. this semester and I don't want a patient to be explaining to me something and I accidentally slip out, "Wow - that's crazy." It's not that I mean "wow - that's mentally ill." It's just that I want to be the best nurse as possible and I don't want a person to not trust me because of some sort of slang that slipped out of my mouth. =(

I don't make resolutions. I understand why some folks do - they can be really motivating for some. I just try to keep a good balance. 90 percent study/lecture/clinicals - 10 percent everything else. ;-)

I'm really tired right now but I thought you said you were going to stop saying the word 'gravy' they don't even look or sound the same but I was rotfl after reading that:)

Mamayogibear, some of us take gravy very seriously and would be offended to hear someone refer to it in such an offhanded manner! ;) jk of course

Mine is to make sure I set aside time for exercise at least 3 times a week. Mostly for brain health. :)
