Both education avenues train you for RN certification. From a purely functional perspective there isn't a difference. However, some employers will favor a BSN applicant over an ADN. In particular, if you plan to move into a managerial or administrative position, the BSN is often prefered.

I'm interested in knowing what a BSN would enable me to do as opposed to an ADN. Please be as specific as possible :) Thanks in advance!
