Transferring to CA BSN with out-of-state degree

I'm currently enrolled in a community college in San Antonio, TX and I will be done with my associates by the end of this semester. I wanted to apply to a Uni BSN program in TX but my hubby got orders to California. (Staying behind is not an option) I am looking at some BSN programs in CA and they seem to be so different than TX BSN programs. Has anyone transferred into a CA nursing school with an associates degree from another state?

** I have all of my prerequisites for most TX nursing programs. I haven't checked equivalencies for CA uni's yet.

Someone please give me some insight!

Do you know what area of California you'd be going to? Start with that and then start researching programs/sending emails about transcript evaluations to get specific information.
