So glad you asked! I have been buying my books at Ebay. Go to half.com and go to the books category, type in title, or partial title, and I have found alot of my books there. Also Amazon.com has books, but I think they are more expensive that ebay.

Lisa - I just found your anatomy book on half.com for $38.00. Your psychology book if it's the 8th edition is on there for $21.00. Isn't this fun!!! I love going to that site and looking for books, and they seem so cheap compared to a "real" bookstore. If you need any other help, I would be glad to help!

I just got my Biology book w/CD, and student study guide (new, both together were $112), for $29.80, in VERY good condition, from Half.com

Once I get my complete list of books....I know where I will be headed :)

Lisa,

Believe it or not Walmart.com also sells some books that I have found for fairly cheap. I agree with ashemson, half.com is awesome with terrific prices.

Wow, will be hitting ebay. thanks for the help. Does Half.com require creditcard? Or Moneyorder? Thanks................

ebay is just depends on the seller, usually they will take money orders, cashier checks, you can sign up with paypal which comes directly from your bank account, and sometimes they will take personal checks. Half.com uses credit cards. If you use paypal.com to pay thru ebay you can assign it to a cc, savings or checking account. Good luck! I just bought my nutrition book which new is $75 for $17.00!!!:p

Gd that is great, I am heading that way now. My only problem is I don't have a cc.....

How about a debit card with your bank? That is what I use. You can always use ebay, and like I said before, type of payment depends on seller.

Lisa, most places will also take a debit card or deduct from your checking accout. The main thing you need is to get the ISBN for the book, there are so many with VERY similar names. Another site is mySimon:

http://www.mysimon.com/category/index.jhtml?c=bookisbn&v=1&sft=isbn

Then you can compare by lowest price including S&H, a feature I really like.

Do what I did! Get to know a Mosby's rep and babysit and dog sit for him in exchange for textbooks!! They get all sorts of free samples.

I have a GREAT answer! I bought all my books through http://www.campusi.com. You can type in the book by name, author, or ISBN and it will give you a ton of bookstores and their prices with shipping, starting with the least expensive. most of the best deals were at Half.com, but some of them were cheaper at other places. I saved $160 over my campus bookstore prices. I ordered everything two weeks ago and had it sent media mail, and I recieved most of it already. http://www.allbookstores.com does the same thing. Good luck. I was so excited to have saved so much money through this website that I went clothes shopping, a very rare luxury for me!
