Should I do Cna 2, while finishing up nursing school?

I've been a cna for two years now and was thinking of doing Cna2 while in the nursing school for RN. I've read cna2 get paid 1-3 dollars more and are more hands on and better chance of working in the hospital or hospice. I have to pay out of pocket and the class is $500-700, I don't know if its worth it. Its alot of money, so I'm asking because I'm not sure, what do you guys think?

better find out about the pay first. You might have bad info. What will you be allowed to do that your are not currently able to do? Will this really help you in nursing?

hi, here's the description for cna2 CNA 2: Know about Certification, Job Description, and Salary

I've spoken to a few cna2 and heard they've got started off around $12-75-$13 hr. They also have a better chance getting into the hospitals. But I just don't know what to do.

Are you in nursing school? If yes, how many semesters have you completed? In the state of NC after completing a year (two semesters) of nursing school, the student becomes a CNA 2. Usually the instructor send the verification to the nursing board and the student pay for the registry which it is $24 and just like that becomes a CNA 2 (but the student need to be a CNA 1 for that to happen). Check with your state nursing board to see if they are like NC. If you haven't start your nursing program, it could be a good advantage to do the CNA 2 because some of the information that you will learn doing the CNA 2, it will be taught to you during the first two semesters of nursing school.
