Saunders, Prentice Hall, or both?

My school told us they recommend us to use Saunders, Lippincott's, and Kaplan

Wow... and for me Saunders is my light reading, just for fun, to make myself feel smart. I find that Saunders questions are relatively easy compared to other prep books.
I have Prentice Hall, too, and use it for questions, but I find Saunders better for the comprehensive review.
I haven't used Kaplan, but have heard their questions are harder = better prep.
Have you actually looked through each of the books you are considering? Borrow from a friend, or someone who just finished with them to see what works for you. There is no one book that works for everyone.

I have been to B&N and tried to look at each of the books but they're covered in shrink wrap there, so I cant look through them. And I dont start NS til the fall so even if I did look through them I'm not sure that I would know what to be looking for as far as content.

The reason I asked the question is because at my school we're required to have a review book w/CD. We must answer a set number of NCLEX style questions per semester (I think 250+) on our own time and print off the results as proof. We have to give the print off to our advisor to look over and see the areas we need to improve in. The only way we can register for the subsequent semesters is to complete this process.

The book that was recommended was Saunders and NCLEX 3500 (?) was recommended as well. I've heard so much about Saunders and PH that I wasnt sure which would be the best for me and what the school requires of us. The book that we get is totally up to the student, so I just wanted to see what others thoughts were about which is the best since I have to have the book by the start of the program and have absolutely no idea what Im looking for in it.

I see a lot of people are recommending Kaplan as well...
