Practice Questions for New NCLEX Format

Heh, does anyone know where one can get the practice CDs or books for the new NCLEX format questions? that is, the format that includes "...select all that apply" where you have to pick more than one answer. I'm in nursing school and they are throwing a lot of these types of questions at us. I have not been told if Kaplan, Saunders, or any of the other publishers have published new practice questions that comply with the new NCLEX format. Holla back.

unless they've changed the format since september (this year), i can tell you that the mosby online review/practice tests were exactly like the ones i had on the nclex on september 14, 2004.

they have changed the format that those that started lvn or rn school this fall will be using. the new format which will be effective april 2005 includes "...select all that apply" questions, which, i should say, will really kick your petuty if you're not prepared for them. our instructors incorporated these types of questions in our tests and its hurting a lot of students thats why i'm on the net looking for study guides that have 'em. i found a couple but still looking so if you know of any study guides (preferably cds) holla back.

You might want to get the book titled NCLEX-RN 250 New-Format Questions. It is by Lippincott Williams & Wilkins. The ISBN # is1-58255-307-6. I bought mine at Barnes and Nobles and it was about 15.00. It is a great book and has 250 of the new format questions. They are just like the new format questions that I received on my NCLEX in October. It really helped me out. Good luck!

The new format is actually already in effect. I took my exam in October and I got about 5 of the new format questions. The exam has also been extended from 5 hours to 6 hours as of October 1st. The "NCLEX-RN 250 New-Format Questions" posted by Yellow Rose RN is great for a start and is simulated exactly like those questions on the NCLEX.
