Hello All! I would like to know what was the hardest or most challenging pre req you took or are taking now for your nursing program? Thanks:)

For me it was CHEMISTRY!!!....arrrgghhhh. I just happened to take it with A & P1....I loved that course though!!!!...lol

For me it was A&P all the way! I am in micro now and actually find it kind of interesting. The A&P was interesting but the professor was so tough- very fair and a very good teacher, but still really tough, which I guess is good for that class. I do have to agree that it depends on the professors a lot.

I can't believe the political science prof that said he wouldn't pass nursing majors! That is just crazy and unfair. Did you get to take the class over with a better professor (I hope)?

For me it was organic and biochemistry (these are required in our program). A very close second runner up was micro. I guess other classes of the chemistry didn't have it as hard as my class... the prof was a yale honors graduate who taught us like chemistry was going to be our sole purpose for living.

However, with the exception of developmental psych (dont EVEN get me started on how much that stunk) the difficult to get through classes are all the ones that I took away more knowledge from and am grateful for the experience. That probably sounds corny, but as an older student I seem to have developed an appreciation for the "getting my money's worth" aspect of school. ;)
