I had my books ALL lined up, ready to purchase from the college bookstore, all that crap. A few were going to be used, but then i received an email saying they aren't available used. Ok, so i changed those to "new".
So here it is, less than a month later, and they switched editions for books in two of my classes, two weeks before class begins!! And i only found this out because i was trying to tell someone online the title of one of those books, and tried to look it up. So i'm looking at an additional $100 at least, this is not including the additional cost for going from "used" to new" books.

Wow that sucks. I guess that's why they won't allow us to purchase our books (if paying from school account) until a few days before class...

Yikes, so sorry to read this Marie.
Needless to say, tis is all a business so that is why they constantly change editions every other semester or so. Hope everything works out for the better.
Luckily the school's claiming error on their part, so what i'll be paying is the difference in price, and not paying for boooks i won't use. Still, that's a lot of money.

You can used the old editions of textbooks, there really is not much difference in content.
