http://www.maagnursing.com/medcal/index.php - this is a medication calculation tutorial. you do not have to login or register to do this tutorial! just click here where it tells you to start the tutorial without credit and you are in the program! the left side of the screen has the outline of the course so you always know where you are in the program, or you can skip to a part you particularly want to focus on. there are quizzes at the end of the various sections. this is from the university of san francisco school of nursing.

http://www.testandcalc.com/quiz/index.asp -- this is the section of www.testandcalc.com that you can access for free. it contains four quizzes on metric conversions, tablet dosage calculations, fluid dosage calculations, and iv drop rate calculations. this is a site sponsored by australian nurses, but the tests are still usable. the solution to each question is revealed when you click on the "show me the solution" button. there is also a short "help" section within each test area that is a short tutorial about the subject. each test also includes an online calculator.

Some of these websites are listed in the sticky on this forum because I looked through what was there before I posted. I am sure some of the other links have been posted before as well and I thought they were on stickys as well, but couldn't track them down. Some of them may be posted over in the Nursing Student Assistance Forum.

how do i get into the dosage calculations on this website (thepoint)?

the first website doesn't come up anymore either. i will keep trying the others. i know the testandcalc one works because i have used that already.

Stickies are threads that are felt have great information and are found always near the top of a forum with a pin as a icon to the left of the title

I can't get onto any of these websites. They are either no longer in existence or the link is broken. The few that do open, I do not know what to click on to get what you say is there. I still don't see any "sticky".

Go to the top of this page and click on the link to "General Nursing Student Discussions". The first 7 threads are stickies....you can see the red pin icon to the left of each sticky thread. There is a thread called The Nursing Math Thread.
