So how many of us Mississippians are students, and how many are actually nurses?
I see there are several MGCCC students here, what about the rest of you? :)
I'm a Level 2 student. I'd post a poll for Mississippi but, I haven't figured it out, yet.

There's a girl that lives in my town who has a vanity plate on her car that says "MANDYMS"
Everytime I see her I think about your username! LOL
Just thought I'd post this for you other Miss'ippians out there -
Info on a MS nursing scholarship/loan program (BSN or higher)

I came accross this same site a while back. However, I never came accross anything about nursing scholarships. Thanks for posting the link.
Here's another web site I just came across I thought you folks might find interesting - it shows the NCLEX pass rates for most (all?) of the nursing schools in the state! Might be helpful if you're still deciding on a school.
It's a PDF file so you'll need Acrobat Reader to view it...

USM has the lowest pass rate in the state for BSN and has the nerve enough to require such a time consuming thing as CNA as a pre-req.
I was surprised to see that - I've always thought USM was one of the better schools in the state!
You can explore around that site and also find some more information about the schools like faculty/student ratio, etc.

From what I heard when I was living in MS... Mississippi University for Women has a VERY VERY good nursing program.... I went there for several semesters working on Pre-Reqs before I moved out of state...
