Hello, My name is Heather, I am a wife/mother and a nursing student!! I was just accepted to a local college and I was extremly happy to see this board! So is it as hard as I've been told?:p

Heather,, all i can say is pre-plan. Know when, how, and where you will study before you get started. Get everything you will need organized and in one place so you wont have to move things off the dining room table before people can eat. Getting all that taken care of first with kids around the house gives you time to talk and reinforce it with the kids before it starts happening. Depending on their ages, plan in frequent quick breaks to check in with the kids during your study time.

There will be parts of the program that will be more difficult than others but with good planning and not having your study time interrupted until you choose to break it will make it much easier.

You will love it :saint: and you will hate it :( sometimes on the same day.

But just remember as you have the bad days, when it is all over, you will be a :nurse:

Hello Heather,

Congratulations on being accepted!!!! I to am new to the board and will just start my prereqs. this fall!!! You can do all things through Christ which is where you draw strength from!!!!
