Hi all!

Is anyone a graduate of either school?

I want to know what the class schedule is like. I'm prepared to quit working but if I can manage part time I'd rather do that.

I'm hopefully going to apply in the spring to both programs.

I believe NU is a Monday-Friday type of deal and COS is Mon-Tues-Wed correct?

Can anyone confirm...

My first choice would be COS but if I'm not accepted, rather than being waitlisted I'd just bite the student-loan bullet and attempt for NU. I'm looking at neighboring schools in Kern and Fresno county as well.

I'm starting the ADN program at COS this August. My schedule is M-TH-F...It depends on which hospital you do your first semester clinicals at. The other schedule is the M-T-W, you had mentioned. I'm friends with a recent graduate of NU and yes, the schedule is M thru F schedule. However, with NU there is travel involved. Not all of the clinical are done locally, some are done up north or down south. Not sure if your aware, but Porterville Community College as well as Westhills Lemoore offer ADN programs. Hope this helps and good luck on getting in!

Hi, I'm considering COS for the LVN-RN Program. Would you recommend it? Do we get to choose the schedule we want? I'm assuming you'll be finishing up soon since you just started last fall. How has your experience been so far?
