  1. I'm starting the ADN program at COS this August. My schedule is M-TH-F...It depends on which hospital you do your first semester clinicals at. The other schedule is the M-T-W, you had mentioned. I'm friends with a recent graduate of NU and yes, the schedule is M thru F schedule. However, with NU there is travel involved. Not all of the clinical are done locally, some are done up north or down south. Not sure if your aware, but Porterville Community College as well as Westhills Lemoore offer ADN programs. Hope this helps and good luck on getting in!
  2. In order to apply to the RN to BSN you have to already have your RN. Being that you are still in your prereqs, I don't think that would be an option at this time. Applying to a BSN program would save you time in the long run but generally are a three yr program compared to that of an AS, which is a 2 yr program. I applied to an AS program at our local Comm. College. It is a lot cheaper and will allow me to start my career then advance to my BSN. There are a lot of online BSN programs out there, which make things (in my opinion) a lot easier. I would recommend applying to more than one school though, when you do. You don't want to put all your eggs into one basket, so to speak. Good luck on your endeavors!
