Hello all!! I am an incoming freshman this year, and I'll be starting at a public 4 year university with a major in Pre-Nursing (of course). I received provisional acceptance (I have to maintain a 3.0 my freshman and sophomore year) to the Nursing program straight out of high school thanks to my grades, ACT, and extreme interest in the Nursing program. I start second semester of my sophomore year (yay!!) I recently joined the National Student Nurses Organization online, and I will be joining my school's local chapter once the semester begins! So tell me- do you enjoy your NSNA membership? What do you like the most about it? I'm new to this whole thing so I'm curious as to what the membership includes. I read it over online- But I want to know what you all have to say :) Thank you guys!!! I've been on this site for around a year now- and it is the most supportive and understanding community I've ever seen :)

I joined NSNA and attended several conferences where I networked, and met the director of the hospital where I ended up getting an externship. I think, for me, it was worth it for that - the connections and access to the nursing community.

What I enjoyed most was the volunteering opportunities. We had amazing service projects and it was a great way to get connected and serve my community with my fellow nursing students.
