A few questions:

1. Has anyone done the Kaplan NCLEX review, do you think it was worth it?

2. Do you think it would be doable to do the Kaplan on demand review (the online one you can do at your own pace) during my preceptorship? We do not have any lecture during our 4-5 week preceptorship, but i will be "working" 40 hours a week, plus trying to pick up at least a shift of week of paid work as a tech if possible. I want to be able to take my nclexas soon as possible and thought it would be a good idea to do the review at this time, then shortly after graduation take the boards... another plus is i would have access to the material for 3 months, so i dont necessarily need to finish it in 5 weeks, but id like to try.

any opinions? the course is 418 dollars, but if you complete the whole thing and fail your boards, you get a refund. i cant decide if it is worth it to sink all this money into it or just buy a couple nclex review books and do a bunch of questions.

I've done the Kaplan NCLEX review and passed on my first time with 75 questions. I've went through the "Q- bank" that Kaplan offered and completed the 4 mock nclex tests. I will tell you that I thought I failed the NCLEX at first, because the questions were very unfamiliar...but I used what Kaplan taught me of HOW to answer the questions....Good Luck!
