Hi I'm Cheryl and my ADN classes will begin in August.
    I AM SO EXCITED!! :hatparty:

I'm 33, mom of 2 and I just decided for a serious carreer change! (I've been an accountant for 13 yrs)

I've always wanted to work in a hospital even as a freshman in high school. I can remember being envious of my girlfriend who got the job in the hospital while I had the kindergarten teacher's aide job (thru DECA).
It just seems like a job that would never get boring. I havent decided yet which specialty I will pursue, but it will most likely be Trauma or ER. I like to be in the thick of things and really help out in a pinch!

    Good luck to everyone!!

    Hi all...

My name is Alexandra (Alex for short), I'm 25, no kids, divorced but happily dating, and I just finished my second semester in an ADN program. This is a second career for me, and so far it's the hardest thing I've ever done, but it's worth it! I really hope to be graduating a year from now!

I'm a 2nd years student nurse doing the pre-registration nursing diploma in the UK(manchester) but from northen ireland. I've found i like medical and care of the elderly wards as well as community. I'm curiuos about how nursing courses work in the USA, in the UK we do blocks of theroy and blocks of clinical pratice doing the full 24hr cycle of care and being very much part of the nursing team (but supernumery)
