I cant believe that Tarrant County College got rid of the LVN to RN bridge program. And then Hill College Johnson County campus cancelled their program after only 3 years. That leaves people in Johnson and Tarrant county's left to go to El Centro where they refuse to take Chem , Weatherford where they dont start untll next June and finally McLennan 75 miles away. . Gosh I feel better thanks for letting me vent... A angry LVN who just wants to be a RN:angryfire

I'm from Texas and I really don't want to critique your state, or my home...

That being said, things are much different up here in the north.

Yes we get taxed to death, but at least things aren't as backwards.

I imagine you have a family and ties there in Tarrant county but it might clear your head to relocate. Did wonders for me. I'm a northerner for life. :)

Hill College has not cancelled their LVN-ADN transtion program. They still have a Board approved LVN-ADN Transition program. The website is www.hillcollege.edu/lvnadn. Hope this helps.:nuke:

bummer! sorry about that. I have no idea what I'm gonna do. I'm in Dallas. would hate to go through the waiting and waiting and waiting with el Centro. thats why I chose to get my LVN in the first place--no waiting. I am thinking Excelsior for RN. my school (Dallas Nursing Institute) is actually starting up a bridge program. but there is so much drama and disorganization there that I would probably chop off my foot before I went back there for my RN.
