Hi! My name is Sarah and I ran into this board awhile ago and made a post or two, but decided to finally introduce myself and start talking! I am 19 and a sophmore in nursing school. I was wondering how many of you out there are also "traditional students" going to college out of high school to get a BSN? Everyone on this board seems totally supportive and knowledgable...I'm sure I'll have lots of questions to ask!
TTFN,
Sarah

welcome, sarah!
i guess i am what you would consider a "nontraditional" student. i am 29 (& holding for as long as i can! *lol*) & married. nursing is also my second career, but my fourth degree (1 associates & 2 bachelors).
good luck! :)

dang moni! shouldn't you have a phd with all of your degrees?
i should will all the $$$$ i have spent, but for some reason i can't get past a bachelors. my husband swears i will become a "professional student". however, i promised him when i finish my nursing masters, that he can go back & get his masters.

Greetings Sarah and welcome. My name is Lisa. I will be starting a 2-year ADN program in the fall. It is my hope to continue in the future towards a BSN. As for now the 2-year program suits my needs. I am 29, married and have 2 beautiful children. The ADN will be my 2nd associates degree, as I have an associates of applied science in surgical technology. Nursing is something I've always wanted to do!
