1. I too was accepted earlier into the nursing program but had to turn it down because of some custody issues with my kids,(thank God they are with me now!)

2. I have 3 kids at home 6,4 and 20 months with one more due in mid January. So I have to worry about daycare, having enough time with them, parent teacher conferences ect.

3. My husband and I were just married in December so we haven't had a lot of time to adjust to the his, hers, and ours thing yet!

4. MONEY! This is the biggie, I spend a lot of time thinking, "if I go part time and he pays this and I do this can we afford this?" ect!

Not to mention he pays almost half of his weekly paycheck to his ex wife (the one with 5 degrees who is a hypochondriac and hasn't worked in two years) for child support on his older children who barely have anything to do with him in the first place because of their mother! Sorry I'm hormonal!

5. We are in the process of moving from an apartment to a real house which is wonderful except now we have to pay all new deposits and fees associated with moving to another state car tags, licenses , ect.

I keep thinking that one day everything will be fine, its just been a long hard road so far!

This is a great post! Helps keep us all encouraged!!

;) ;) ;)

WOW!!! sounds like you have one full plate right now..

CONGRATS on your new house!!!!!! (o:

I don't even know what to say. I wish you and your family the best. You seem to have so much going on right now, I think it would be EXTREMELY difficult for you to start nursing school right now. I started when my son was 3 months old, and let me tell you, it was no walk in the park. My husband is not home alot, so all the child care duties fell on me. Believe me, I wished many times that I had waited until my son was older to start!! I wish you the best in everything. Just remember, this too shall pass. You got accepted to nursing school once so you can get accepted again. Don't let money issues hold you back, because they will always be there. Apply for grants, scholarships and everything else you can get to help you pay for school. ((((((HUGS)))))) to you.
