Good Morning All!!!

Nursing Students General Students

Good Morning from Indiana! The weathers nice outside (I don't think it's gonna rain today, but one never knows anymore!) and I don't have school today!:D

But I was just sitting here reading through some of the posts, and I got to thinking. With all these new students coming in, soon to be starting classes, it's just absolutely amazing that I am almost finished. This year has gone by so quickly...(yet so long!);)

I'm almost saddened by all the friends I'll be leaving behind when I start my nursing carreer. How can I keep in contact with all of them?

I just wanted to let all you new students know that nursing school is long and hard, but you'll form a bond that doesn't seem it can ever break---you'll gather together with folks you never would think...you'll go through fear, elation and personal triumphs and tragedies.

Strange, but I feel almost like a butterfly coming out of a coccoon...

I have a mere 10 weeks to go, and I'm already feeling a bit lost. Who will I go to when I "just don't get it"? My husband never "gets it". So I know he won't understand...

Just feeling a bit sentimental here I guess..... :sniff:

Congratulations to all you who are starting! It's wonderful and I hope you love it as much as I did! And still do! :balloons:

Hey! Pretty soon, I'm gonna be a :nurse:!!!

Oh Julie the feeling is mutual I remember the first 8 weeks when our instructor gave us a list of things to study for our final, and she totally must have forgot about the list. We were all crying and saying we were'nt gonna answer our phones to recieve the bad news, and here we are 10 mos. later with 8 weks to go. Damn, it feels good and my classmates most of them feel like family all the time and hard work we put in it's gonna be hard to say good-bye. Good luck !!!!:) by the way what rotation are you doin first? I'm doing O.B. I would love to share info if possible.

Hi Studiouslpn!

I'm finished with Med-Surg, and am in Geri now. I have OB/PEDS last.

I love Geri...that's where my heart is all the time anyway!:)

Am having trouble with my email right now, and it's Sunday, so I can't get ahold of anyone, so if you want to contact me about any info...

PM me thru here, ok? Would love to hear from you!

Julie :nurse:

Congrads Julie!
