Frustrated with my school

Nursing Students General Students

I would like to start buying my nursing school supplies, while I have the money to do it. I called the school a month ago and they said they would send out a list (some items have to be specific brands). I called yesterday, they said they would be sending out a list soon. I talked to a second year nursing student who said that they didn't get their list until orientation (2 weeks before classes start). I REALLY don't want to wait. I feel like I should be doing something, picking stuff up or purchasing items. I was accepted and I don't feel like it's a big deal, nothing is happening.

How soon did you receive a list (if you received one at all) after your acceptance?

ETA- I didn't read before I posted, someone else has pretty much posted the same thing. So disregard, sorry!

we didn't receive a list. we were not really aware of the costs on our program until we got to orientation. I wish I had known before then, NS costs too much money and will make you broke!

I rec'vd a list when I went to the school to inquire about the program.

My school pays for insurance, the supplies and 2 sets of uniforms...

Waiting weeks for a supply list almost makes no sense.
