free blood pressure screening

My class is interested in doing a few philanthropies while we're in school, one idea some of thought might go over well was putting together a free blood pressure screening after we have the instruction section on it. Does anyone know if this has ever been done before? I thought we could make it one of our labs (for added practice time) since we have to have so much lab time in. We could ask the local Walmart if we could set up tables and have our clinical instructors there with us. We need the practice anyways and what better way to practice then on strangers that will have a varied levels instead of practicing on each other. I'm just not sure if there would be any legalities to this or not. So if anyone knows anything please do tell :yeah:

We do it as part of one of our nursing student organizations once a month at the hospital during their blood screening tests, which we also help draw blood at. It is a lot of fun and its always nice giving a little time back to the community any way possible
