first catheter!!!

I did my first catheter last night and I just had to share with someone! I was told only a few minutes before by my clinical instructor that I was doing it so I didn't have time to get nervous. The resident was a man that I know quite well and he was relaxed so that helped me relax as well. It went so smoothly and I was so proud of myself.:) This is my second placement as an RPN student and this is the highlight of it so far! Does anyone else have any "first time" memories?

Cool !! Congrats! We just finished check offs for caths today, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that I get to do one soon in clinicals next week when we go :) Keep up the good work!
