Final exam study tips!!

Hey so I was just wondering if anyone has any advice on how to study for a cumulative final exam when you have a 3 inch binder full of notes. It stresses me out just looking at it and seems nearly impossible.

Start studying as early as possible before the exam. Review one section at time. Don't overwhelm yourself. Avoid looking at that fat binder like a whole..break it up into sections and have one goal in mind at a time. (ie-maybe review one to three sections a day...or one section a week, etc..). Mark any areas that you are having trouble with so you can go back to them and avoid going over and over things that you already have down pat.

I did this and it made that 3 inch binder look a let less overwhelming.

For the final, I don't study and I'm in nursing III. My trick, I study like a mad crazy person all semester long. I have not failed a test since I've been in nursing school. When you give your all, all semester you should be good for the final! We never have enough time to truly study for the final. Truth is, if you wait until around final time to start studying that will put you in a bad position. It's so much information in the lecture exams. How can you go over all that effectively?

Thanks everyone good tips! I do study like crazy for every exam and am doing really good I've never studied for a final exam but since it's worth 100 points out of the 231 we need to pass with a C I want to score high in order to get an A. I will have about a week to study for the final so I'm hoping I'll remember it all when k start reviewing.
