I was a sophomore in college before deciding I wanted to become a nurse. I am now a junior and want to apply to nursing school but my gpa is too low. I had a bad first year at college due to some family matters and a party lifestyle and my gpa was a 1.7. Since then I have worked my butt off to raise my gpa and it is now a 2.7. I have already completed all of my prerequisites and am stuck on what to do next. I tried getting into a lpn program but failed the math section on the entrance exam. I am feeling very discouraged and I have no idea what steps to take to get into a nursing program. Any advice would be appreciated.
