Hi,

Does anyone have access to the instructions for how to administer the Denver Developmental Screening Test and the Early Language Milestone Scale-2. I know the DDST is available for purchase at the website but I'm hoping someone would be willing to share the instructions if they have them.

thanks very much!

Linda

I think the information you want is in the links that were posted on this thread: https://allnurses.com/forums/f205/desperately-looking-denver-234978.html

The Denver and the instructions are copyrighted, I'm sure. I don't think I'd announce that you're sharing them in public.

Where in the sam hill did you get the impression that I was sharing the copyrighted instructions with anyone????? I merely posted a previous thread that had links regarding the Denver Developmental Screening test, by one of allnurses moderators no less! This is not the first time this issue of the Denver Development test has come up on the forums. Instructors tell their students to assess their patients with it and then leave the student hanging as to where to get it. Take this issue up with the particular moderator who posted the original thread if your panties are in that much of twist! Geez!

Wow, maybe some deep breaths would help...

I wasn't responding directly to you, which should have been obvious by the fact that I didn't quote your post. I can't help it that my response just so happened to have directly followed your entry. I can assure you that in the future, I will try to avoid such an unfortunate circumstance.

I merely offered a good faith insight to the OP based on a situation that happened with a friend of mine last year and which I mentioned in my journal (lest you further suspect my motives). Sharing copyrighted material isn't legal under these circumstances, regardless of who might suggest it. It's no skin off my nose. I know that it's done all the time; given that my friend was sent a cease and desist order based on a public Internet communication, I was just gently recommending that such activity not be done in public. The OP is welcome to accept or not accept this input as they wish, as are you. Just as I am welcome to accept or not accept the insight you offered in your unprovoked outburst.
