Conversions Game!

What are some of the conversions you need to memorize? We can make this sort of like a studying game.

Although I'm not sure what is the most common ones, I'll start by putting one. The next poster can answer & put another conversion, and so on....

I know conversions has been stressed, and stressed, and stressed, so we all need to make sure we have them down. If one gets repeated down the line, oh well, I'm sure we can use a repeat practice. :)

1 g = ? mg

Specializes in Operating Room.
1kg=2.2lbs

How about 98 degrees F to C?

36.67 degrees C

1 grain = 60 mg

1ml = 12 minums

For the temp formulas we learned

(F-32)/1.8 = C

& F=1.8 C + 32

I didn't figure them, but I guess it should come out to the same answer.

Thanks for all of the help for the formulas. I'm going to see if I can work them on my own now. lol

Ok, here's mine:

1 pint = ? oz = ? cc (or mL as we are supposed to use now.) lol

1 grain = 60 mg

1 ml=15 minums

how about:

3 minums=? gtt

7 1/2 gr= ? mg

Specializes in Acute Care, Rehab, Palliative.

1cc=1ml

5 ml=1 tsp

3 tsp=1 tbsp

2 tbsp = 1 oz.

1 oz. = 30 ml

1L = 1000ml

1 gram = 1000mg

1mg = 1000 micrograms

1 minimum = 1 gtt

Hope some of these help

I like this it is good practice!
