CA Schools w/ Quick Acceptance

I wanted to start school as soon as possible, given that I already spent 6 years on another science degree and am 25 already. I wanted to know if anyone knew of any accredited schools that ideally start in Fall, or even early next year. I'm considering an associates or accelerated bachelor's program. I live in Southern California but I would consider NorCal, Oregon, Arizona or Texas. Thanks for any advice!

There are no fast and easy way to get to nursing school. If you haven't already done your prerequisites then you are looking at 3 or 4 years depending on your commitment.

Most importantly, you need to get straight A's in your prerequisites. The competition to get into a nursing program in California is intense. B's and C's isn't going to cut it.

Are all of your prereqs done? Those need to be done before you can apply to programs. And from what I understand CA is tough. Many have lottery programs that can take years to get into. Every program is different and competition is fierce so I hope you have a good gpa from your previous degree. Almost every program also requires an entrance exam so that would also need to be taken.

Im guessing you have already googled programs and can't find a quick way. That's because there's not one. I'm sorry. There is no easy way to nursing.

You've picked a really, really, really rough state. Do you have all your prerequisites done? A lot of the public programs in CA are lottery-based, meaning once you complete all the prerequisites and have the minimum GPA required you get put into a pool with everyone else that does as well and they randomly pick 40, 60, whatever number they admit to their cohorts. I wouldn't consider CA somewhere to get into a program quick. You could try one of those expensive for-profit schools, but you'll be paying for that degree the rest of your life.
