Bragging Rights? Or no big deal?

I got a "Certificate of Excellence for the Highest Fundamentals II Test Score In This Nurse's Graduating Class". It was from ERI (Educational Resources Inc) in Kansas, apparently from some test I took last semester.

Does anyone know if this is worth the paper it is inscribed on? Who the heck is ERI? Should I be proud? It was just laid on my desk, sitting there in a manilla envelope when I got back from break. Is this a national type thing or just my school?

Anyone ever hear of this? What the heck good is it for, my resume or something?

Val, at my school, we have to take 4 ERI tests per semester. They're "locked" tests which mean we can do the tutorials all we want but come test day, you have to get an 80% on each of them in order to pass. They're basically blue prints to the NCLEX.

No, it may not be something to add to your resume but pretty darn good for the ego ;) I say at very least, you've got bragging rights! Congratulations! ERI is a nationally recognized company who does the NET test to the preRN programs in top universities.

Pat yourself on the back! :)

Cool... we never studied or anything, they just told us one day to take this test. So, we did.

I guess that bodes well for my NCLEX in the future then? THAT is the best thing to hear!!!!

Val, here is the link to info on the tests. Thought you might enjoy it seeing how well you did incomparison to the NCLEX! You're right, out of all of it, scoring so high on a NCLEX blue print is about the best thing I can think of too! :)
