I go back the 20th and will be taking Peds and Ob. How about you? I am happy because I love nursing school, but this has been a good summer. I did not go on any big trips and I did take summer school, but after my first year of nursing school I REALLY needed a break!

I go back on the 27th and have med/surg, OB, and peds. I took summer school too hoping that it would keep me in the swing of things, but I don't think that it really helped any. We were planning on taking a weekend trip somewhere but my husband got so busy with work that it doesn't look like we will be doin much of anything before school starts. I really wanted to get away and do something fun but I will survive not having done so. I really wish that summer break wasn't soooo long! Good luck this semester!

Start back up on the 28th. Psych/Peds/OB. Spent 2 months as an extern on a cardiac tele floor. It was great and truly reinforced that changing my career from project manager/desk driver to nurse was the right move.

Hi! I go back to school on the 27th, my 1st NS semester! I am excited too, but I have enjoyed my Summer. It's nice to sleep in because the kids don't have to catch the bus, I did take a Speech class in June, but I still didn't have to get up as early as usual!;) But I am ready for the structure of the school year again and I am excited to be taking classes that mean something to me, not just prereqs! I also miss my job in the hospital, so it will be nice to go to clinicals, but it will be weird that I can do things I couldn't do before as a CNA!:lol2:

Start back on the 20th, 3rd semester. We have psch the first 8 weeks and med/surg the second. In addition, I'm taking 3 online classes I need for my BSN.
