Anyone trying to get fit before NS?

I start in August... I'd really like to lose about 20 pounds this summer and get a bit more cardiovascular-ly fit before school starts! Anyone else in my boat and want an accountability partner? :)

I find that doing compound movements and keeping your workouts simple makes it easy to define what your goals are, as well as change or tweak parameters such as rep schemes/amount of weight/intensity. In addition it helps to save time. I like using a blend of barbell/bodyweight/kettlebell complexes. Kettlebells really help me save time too if I have a busy day.

Kettlebells are great! We use them at CrossFit a lot :)
