hello friends! i am entering my 3rd week of rn school and had my first exam today. i will let you know how it went when the results are posted. i was doing alright until one of the students asked if she had to wear her uniform to clinicals:confused:.......i couldn't believe it. i have a sore throat and am trying to study for a pharm test tomorrow, prepare for the first exam in health assessement a week from tomorrow, and prepare my notes for fundamentals exam ii, in two weeks. i needed to "!scream!" and i knew i could come here and do just that. thanks for listening.

how are things going for you?

In my next life, if I have one, I will pursue this topic to the greatest extent as it goes much deeper than I described... until then I will focus on my Goal in this life:eek:

You all have a Good Weekend !!:)

our office staff likes to pretend we are invisible! I could stand there all day and nobody would say anything to me. I always have to say ah excuse me could you help me?

at the end of first quarter nursing. We have had A& P before entering the program and this chick asks...." Now, a vein goes back to the heart?" *rolling on he floor laughing* We were discussing jugular distention. This was only after a quarter of stupid questions. Oh yea, she gave a lady with edema a deep foot rub!! oh my gosh. ...now i am going to delete my location right after I post this!

:D sorry guys, but i only have good things to say about my lpn school! we have great instructors! the test haven't been too bad! yet! we have started clinicals at the nursing homes. only thing bad about that is seeing the lack of quality these patients have of a life! i am in a large class, and like pretty much everybody! feel like i don't have enough time to study for some tests, but thats how it is i guess! only bad thing about school is that i never get to come to allnurses.com anymore, and i feel like i never get enough time to listen to music anymore! but, the year is still young, ask me in a couple of weeks, i might have more to complain about!

debralynn, continue to enjoy school. i am glad things are good. it is sad to see "the lack of quality" the patients get. keep us posted and all the best to you!
