Anyone here Accepted for NMU's BSN program for Fall '10 or already in - page 2

I know this is a little known school, but I was just accepted for Northern Michigan University's BSN program. Is anyone else on here a student there - besides my friend Hypersaurus SN ;) I'm so excited to have "graduated" from... Read More

    Hypersaurus/Maria,
Thanks again for all the info! I looked on the Michigan housing website (thanks for the link) and looked at some of the house apartments in Marquette. Those don't seem to be too expensive. Maria, I'm glad to knock Olympia off my list. I saw their name on the website....haha won't be going to those! I'm just so nervous to move somewhere new all by myself I don't know anyone up there to tell me all of these things. Thank you guys so much again, I really appreciate it.

I know exactly how you feel - I came up here from WA state, not knowing anything about Marquette, or really MI, in general. I had two weeks to get settled and find an apt. It was pretty scary and stressful - definitely the scariest, weirdest thing I've ever done. But its a gutsy move I had to make - I'm now in nursing school and achieving my dream at long last. It may seem weird, but things will probably work out. Once you get your acceptance letter, it will seem worth it. If you have any other Qs feel free to ask! Sending best wishes!

Hello does anyone know any information about the LPN-BSN program? What is the gpa requirement to get in?

I too am curious about the LPN-BSN at NMU. I am working on my LPN right now in Seattle, but I am originally from Marquette and NMU is where my dad got his BSN in the early 90s. Good program according to him.

Just curious how the LPN-BSN thing works, if anyone knows..
