Just curious if anyone out there is currently attending an evening school nursing program in Southeastern PA.
LPN or RN program I'd love to hear from you.
Still trying to find an evening/weekend program in my area.
Thanks,
C

I am! I am starting my prereq's at a local community college in January 2003 (they have a nursing program but the nursing classes are only offered during the day). I will hopefully start a hospital based nursing program in the evening/weekends in August 2004. I am outside Philly. Where are you located at?
I wanted to get started with my nursing career (I'm a career changer) as soon as possible so that is why I picked a diploma program - plus they have a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX. Also, if you agree to work with them, they will forgive your loan. In addition, they have an onsite BSN program so my intention is to get that while working as an RN.

I'm from southeastern PA, but my program is full-time days. I was looking around though, and I know Gwenneyd-Mercy has a weekend option. Check out different school's websites, you'll be suprised at all the programs out there.
Abington Memorial Hospital has a evening/weekend option. That is where I plan on going in 2004. I also heard that Holy Family College does too.

I'm in Lancaster County and we have a great evening RN program. I go Tues/Thurs night and clinicals every other weekend. We have a few students that drive an hour or so to come. One lady is from MD... If you want info email me

I was just wondering if people from the southeast area of Pennsylvania knew if the the nursing programs had waiting lists. I am doing prerequisites now. I am very much interested in moving to the harrisburg area.
Thanks!
