Any funny descriptions

We had one when we were learning how to each our clients how to walk up stairs on crutches;

Good goes to heaven (lead with your good foot going up the stairs), and bad goes to hell (lead with your bad foot when going down stairs.)

We had one when I was in school, mind you this was over 12 yrs ago so the "code" protocol has changed with the addition of meds like amarodorone ...."shock shock shock everybody shock big shock little shock everbody shock shock" ie: defib 100 defib 200 defib 360 epi defib defib bretyluim defib lido defib... never forgot it!! We had on of our classmates that worked in a tiny little rural hospital as a nurse tech and one night it was just her and a very inexperienced MD..she sang the song while they coded a guy awaiting transport..thought that was pretty cool!!

While learning how to d/c catheters and NG tubes or clinical intructor told us to "grip it and rip it" :eek:

While practicing placing catheters in skills lab, one of the girls from our group said wouldn't it be funny if Julie Childs made a catheter insertion video. Then continued to explain the procedure in a high pitched voice. Then another girl chimed in (just as she was at the "insert" point of the procedure) it would be much funnier if it were Emeril "BAM". I don't think our clinical instructor is going to forget out group for quite a while!
