  1. This is not the program of CRNA Just .... My school is 'National medical center college of nursing'. Namely it is supported by my country. So the tuition is not high. :) Each semester (we have 6 semesters for 3 yrs) is about 900$. So if we have at least 5,400 $, we can finish nursing school. That's really cheap comparing with your school ones. Of course we can get RN. :balloons: Well the other private nursing schools, their tuitions are high.
  2. Hello Everyone! I need your help... There must be somebody who treats their old Nursing Text books by selling or donating. In my case I want to have them so much. After supporting the school tuition by myself, I need to save my money in many things. Hmmm... Please let me know how I can buy Nursing Text books cheaply... And could you recommend which books are good for studying... :) (Classes: Fundamental nursing, Biochemistry,Adult Care, Nursing Assessment, Microbiology, Physical Examination) PS: I am living in Korea. At school we have Nursing textbooks written in Korean(plus Chinese) and English. That makes me much difficult to understand ...So many unfamiliar words they have... So I want to study by English version text books.
  3. Now I feel one member of this nurse family. You are my sister, brother, uncle, aunt ..... Yeah! There is no hard thing if I use my weak point with wisdom. Maybe that makes me much powerful person... I will continue to post my thoughts to share with you..
  4. Hello Everyone :) I am writing again. I visit this website everyday and read your lives. That's my hobby. I am a future RN, I mean I am a nursing student. As I am learning and learning.. about 'Nursing Care', I think being a nurse is not really easy. Need to have many abilities. Such as Knowledge, Patience, Strength, Generosity, Faith, and beautiful Smile..... still ...etc.... One of my problem is .. :zzzzz I am a kind of tiny person. 5 feet 2 inch.. People can think me I look weak. So Every night I exercise.. like jumping a rope... to make my body strong... for the future Job.. Well.. Is there something(or big) disadvantages as a tiny nurse? Hope not this question sounds stupid...
  5. Hello everyone. I am a nursing student living in Korea. Whenever I visit this website, I feel all of you are like my family members. :roll Yeah.. very comfortable here...and get many things what I can't do on the other websites. Well... as your sister I have something to tell you. I already wrote about this.. 'I want to know the useful website for studying Nursing science.' And I got the answer and found great websites about it thanks to kind friends here. But well.. I think it will be much better to learn 'Nursing Science' through real textbooks written by English. I realized that English text books are better than Korean ones to study and understand nursing .... Actually I went to bookstore to buy them.. Gee~ the prices are so so expensive... to me... So.. I know this is strange.. but... I decided to tell you ...( I have a big gut...) :imbar If you have any used textbooks which you don't use any more... (anatomy, physiology, microbiology, Nursing assessment. and so on.) (I don't care they are very old .. or worn out-textbooks...) I wish you give me them.. by mail... then ..I will pay your 'mail fee' and your books. Okay... anyway time flies.. wish you have only happy days until next new year :kiss 2004~
  6. Hello everyone! I am a nursing student, still freshman. Today we have a ceremony of "Florence Nightingale Pledge". (Now I am memorizing it.) I heard that this is for next year's nursing practice in the hospital. I am curious to know that all nursing schools have this cerebration. And how was your feeling when you had this event before.. [Florence Nightingale Pledge] "I solemnly pledge myself before God and presence of this assembly; To pass my life in purity and to practice my profession faithfully. I will abstain from whatever is deleterious and mischievous, and will not take or knowingly administer any harmful drug. I will do all in my power to maintain and elevate the standard of my profession, and will hold in confidence all personal matters committed to my keeping, and family affairs coming to my knowledge in the practice of my calling. With loyalty will I endeavor to aid the physician in his work, and devote myself to the welfare of those committed to my care."
