Hi guys!

i just passed my NCLEX and planning to apply although I haven't got any experience I would like just to joint courses . I enrolled myself to BCLS

should you think I need to sign up for

ACLS AND PCLS?

also there's this option ACLS AND ACLS FOR EXPEREINCED WHICH SHOULD I TAKE?

Some hospitals will pay for those accreditations.

Specializes in OR, Nursing Professional Development.

ACLS for experienced providers is for those who routinely utilize the ACLS protocols. ACLS is appropriate for those who don't have that experience.

Generally, employers who require those certifications will provide the opportunity and pay for them as part of orientation or within a specified time from hire.

What is PCLS? Do you mean PALS? That's something that only a small subset of nurses are going to need.

Specializes in Medical Oncology, ER.

working in med-surg/onc i never implemented ACLS. when i graduated all of us got ACLS and PALS to "give us the advantage" but so did everyone else lol. Did I use ACLS/PALS? not at all. BLS? rarely, always caught our patients early enough for an RRT. get your employer to pay for it lol. but do NOT take the online ACLS/PALS, its horrible!
