If you were given the oppurtunity today to be a Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practioner which would you rather be....?

Neither isn't an option. I'd rather work at Target

Obnurseheather, frankie here. i would be a np any day. why not build on the career you are invested in rather than start anew? If you are looking to exit nursing, PA might be the route to take, however there would be more limitations in licensing and practice. frankie

Because while I may be chronologically and financially invested in nursing, I feel I may have lost my emotional investment in it.

Heather,
You have to stay around long enough to be my PP nurse in April!
Of course! Are you coming to the "Big House" to deliver? :chuckle
Nope, can't come to the "Big House".........HMO, blah, blah.........
But I thought you were going to move to the Mercy System just for me???? :)

OK, misti...............works for me.............we can plan Heather's career for her..........I'm sure she won't mind! :-)
:chuckle Don't mind at all! If I have to move all over the country to find appreciative patients.... that's fine!
