nur20,

The reason I posted this was hopefully too get everyone thinking and considering their own Internal Variables. The strategy of completing unfinished sentences is to help us determine and explore our attitudes, beliefs, interests, and goals, which are indicators of our own professional values then with sharing then in a forum or 'Virtual Roundtable' we'd all learn how to work together. If ever their was a need for nurses of all disciplines too 'Come Together' in a single cause, it's now.

Your values are exceptional; share them and compare them with others values. I started a 'round table' where I work and the changes in attitudes towards others is remarkable. Respect of all has brought about higher CNA retention and everyone is communicating!

Thanks for your reply.

When there is an atmosphere of mutual respect, and comfort with seeking answers to problems with each other.

5. I fail as a nurse if I cannot...

have the resources to provide care in a holistic way, like having enough staff to spend time with a dying pt/family, for instance

6. The most difficult patient is one who...
