Tough decisions

Hi everyone! I just wanted some advice. I am currently in the process of transitioning from LPN to RN. I have a job right now at a physician's office doing immunizations. Both of the physicians stated that they want to keep me on even after I get my RN. My husband just recently got a job with weekends off and wants me to continue at the office so we can enjoy weekends together. I feel like I have worked too hard to get my degree to do office work. Any advice on how I should make my decision?

Thank you

Depending on how much you'll get paid, I wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth. Believe me, working in the hospital is not all that it's cracked up to be. I personally have only worked inside a hospital but things like scripting, AIDET, and other customer service craziness are steadily pushing me away from bedside. Tis very sad too!

I loved the bedside (with the expected quirks) until the push for "always" came along. Do I "always" take care of my Pt's to the best of my ability? Yes. Do I always bring the ice water at the right temperature? Sometimes. :sarcastic:
