Check these out! It is essentially a nurse purse. I had my boyfriend get me one for Christmas. I can't wait for it to arrive, so I can have a nice protective carrier to put my fancy cardiology stethoscope in. You can get it with or without a strap. I got no strap. Super cute and the creator is a nurse too.

They're expensive ($60-$80) but I've been lusting after the Leatherman Raptor trauma shears. They're supposed to last a lifetime and in addition to being shears (that fold!) you also have a ring cutter, seatbelt cutter, glass breaker and O2 wrench on there. They're geared more towards EMTs but I know some fellow ER nurses who have these shears and they love them.
