Hi all!
I'm very close to getting my NA certificate and I'm highly considering applying to RN programs. I'm always interested in learning new things and I'm up for the challenge of becoming an RN.
I would like to ask everyone:
Why did you study nursing?
What main areas of clinical study &/or health issues did you persue? Your specific focus? What was your outcome?
Why did you choose the school you went to? Why were you and that program a good match?
, Hope to hear from some of you!

My mother is a nurse and so are several aunts and cousins. My mom always taught me to be able to stand on your own as a woman and to never have to depend on a man. RN jobs are plentiful and you don't have to worry about lay offs or losing your job. You can move and get a job tomorrow as a nurse. I will always be able to take care of myself and my children on my salary alone. It is a very positive profession.
