Would it jeapordize my RN license if I am authorized to perform a expanded scope procedure as a Paramedic which is prohibited to perform by the state as an RN?

Thanks,

Sorry, I can't answer your question for sure... But it seems to me that it would depend on the environment in which you were doing this procedure. For instance, if you were acting as a paramedic, out in the field, you would be OK. If you were acting as an RN, in the hospital (or wherever) you could not perform anything outside of the scope of an RN.Is that what you're asking?

Yes, If I was performing as a medic, it would not violate the state's rules regarding RN practice?

I don't think so, but I don't know for sure. You need to check with your state to be sure!!!
