I'm a single mom working 2 jobs and currently have 7yrs of GI tech under my belt. I would like to goto nursing school and was wondering if there are any online courses for text book work and if financial will include cost of living to make up for dropping 2nd job. Also, is it really possible to work full time and goto school? Answers..comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you 😊

If you have kids, chances are that you qualify for some sort of financial aid for school. Grants may cover many of your expenses, but it's possible you may have to take out loans, as well. Some courses may be available online, but some/many are not (especially once you get to nursing school). Working full time is possible for some people, but I feel like I would have done very poorly in school if I had worked full time (and I didn't have any children when I went to school).

Have you looked at the admission requirements to any programs in your area? That might give you an idea of where to start.

Thank you for the reply..yes I did ask admissions and thier suggestion was to apply for cost of living loans because of me already having to work 2 jobs it would be nearly impossible for me to afford living cause I would have to attend school full time
