Reading glasses in isolation rooms

Okay, folks, I have a silly question, but I'd love to hear your solutions!

I need reading glasses to see up close, but can't see far away when I have them on.

My dilemma is this: I gown up in my PPE to enter an isolation room, do my tasks, and then sometimes I need to read (i.e. med vials, measure drain output, etc.) What is the best way to handle reading glasses in an isolation room when you can't possibly wear them the whole time you are in the room. I have been putting them on top of my head like I do with sunglasses, but all that does is contaminate the glasses and my hair. I need a better solution. Please help!

I'm an APN with the same issue. I have non-prescription no line bifocals with the reading lens on the bottom and clear lens on the top. That way I don't have to put them on top of my head.

Did you have to get them from an optometrist or can you buy them in stores? I've never seen them before. That would be perfect!

Update: I found a place on Amazon I could order these, in safety glass no less, and the price is under $15. Thanks so much for the tip!
