personal liability insurance..question

Nurses General Nursing

I was just looking at the NSO website to sign up for personal and a question on the part where they do a "quick quote" came up that I wasn't sure how to answer. The question was:

Do you work more than 24 hrs per week.

Ok I KNOW whether I work more than 24 hrs or not. I was hired for a part time position for 2 shifts a week. BUT I also told them that I would be willing to pick up extra shifts for call-outs, etc. I don't plan on working more than the 16 hours every week but I'm sure there will be weeks that I do.

I did the quick quote once doing it with under 24 and once doing it as 24 or more and the quote price was the same.

My question: should I check 24 hrs or more since I may be working full time for this facility at times and/or if I pick up another nursing job part time (it would end up totally full time hours) or if I leave this facility before my policy expires and end up taking a full time position?

I tried to call but they aren't open on Sundays

Since at times you WILL be working more than 24 hours, I would answer yest to that one. Good luck.

Thank you. I was thinking to do the more than 24 hr option for the exact reason you stated. At time I WILL be working 24 hrs or more.
