Hi, I am an ER RN with almost 4 years experience(about 1/2 my time medical/cardiac prior to ER) My question is how much negotiating can I do for better pay and benefits during a job interview?? I have only worked in 2 facilities since graduating and I really feel like I have settled for too low in pay. 16.25(includes.50 for ACLS) I am in southern Louisiana.

ER nurses are in high demand! i would take a travel contract if you are able and get some experience in inner city or trauma center...they you have a lot to bring to the bargaining table! good luck:)
